Santa Martha Acatitla Women's Social Reintegration Center, Mexico City
April 24, 2026
On Friday, April 24, we made our ninth delivery of sneakers at the Santa Martha Acatitla Women's Social Reintegration Center. Within the framework of Children's Day, we delivered 43 pairs of new sneakers to children and babies living inside the center with their mothers.
It was undoubtedly one of the most significant deliveries we have made. We had the opportunity to interact with families facing very different circumstances, but where the affection, hope, and excitement of the children are still present.
Moments like this remind us that all children deserve to feel seen, valued, and accompanied. We are grateful for the opportunity to have been part of this very special day.
43 pairs of sneakers delivered.
"As a mom, participating in the sneaker delivery at the Santa Martha Acatitla Women's Social Reintegration Center was a deeply moving experience for me.
Seeing so many children excited to receive their new sneakers made me think about how important those little moments are for them. As mothers, we all want to see our children happy, and that day it was impossible not to be moved by so many smiles and hopes.
What I took away most from this experience was remembering that, although our stories are different, the love for our children always unites us. Being able to share a moment of joy with those families was a privilege and something I will keep in my heart.
I am very grateful to have been part of this delivery. I left with the satisfaction of having contributed a small grain of sand, but also with a great lesson on empathy, gratitude, and the importance of helping when we have the opportunity to do so.
Thank you for this opportunity, Waipy.”
