Waipy was born as an idea at the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic, a father and son project in search of the best way to clean their sneakers. After trying many specialized products in the market, none of which convinced us, we decided to create an easy, fast, and practical product to use that would also contribute to a social cause when purchased. After thinking and developing the brand and the product, we decided to seek the social cause of our brand, which consists of 4 points:

  1. Improve the environment by being a product friendly to it and 100% recyclable.
  2. Highlight the name and pride of being Mexican, as everything is manufactured in Mexico.
  3. Support gender equality and female empowerment by hiring women (product manufacturers, designer, and commercial director).
  4. Donate a pair of new sneakers to children who need them the most.
